When you hit your monthly limit — tokens or storage — we pause. We do not automatically charge your card.
If you want to keep going, you decide: buy a one-time top-up, or upgrade to the next plan. Either way, you control when and how much you spend.
What’s included — and what more costs
Every plan includes a monthly allowance. If you need more before your next monthly reset, here’s what extra looks like.

What that means in plain terms
A customer conversation uses roughly 5,000 tokens when AI answers them with a fast model. So on the Starter plan, $0.60 worth of top-up tokens = about one more conversation past your monthly 2-million-token allowance.
Most Starter customers never buy a top-up. The 2M/mo allowance covers several hundred conversations. The Professional plan’s 12M/mo covers a couple thousand. Top-ups exist for the months you exceed your usual pattern.

What happens when I hit my monthly limit?
We pause. Your AI stops responding to new chats until you either upgrade your plan, buy a one-time top-up, or wait for your next monthly reset. We never auto-charge your card.
Do top-up tokens ever expire?
They don't expire while your subscription is active — downgrades and plan changes don't touch them. If you cancel your subscription, any unused top-up tokens are forfeited once the plan ends.
What about my monthly plan tokens?
Unused plan tokens roll over for up to 3 months on paid plans. After that they drop off. Top-up tokens you purchased directly don't expire while your subscription is active.
Can I just upgrade instead of buying top-ups?
Yes — you can upgrade anytime. If you consistently hit your limit, upgrading is usually cheaper than buying top-ups every month. We’ll nudge you if we notice that pattern.
What does 'tokens' actually mean?
Tokens are how we measure AI usage. A typical customer conversation uses about 5,000 tokens on a fast AI model, more on a premium model. You don’t need to count them — we show you exactly what you’ve used on your billing dashboard.
Your monthly plan is your monthly price. Nothing extra unless youclick “buy more.”
